Fun with clay - black and white animals
April membership meeting, Wednesday, April 24, 7 pm
Bonnie Grebner will lead the group with her usual creativity on April 24. Plan to create your own creative clay animal!
Bonnie will provide needed supplies and will fire the finished projects for you. She also will offer a day (date to be determined) for those who want to do a raku firing of their critters (clay ones!). Never tried this medium before? This is a perfect opportunity to try something new, have fun with an old favorite (clay) or try something new if this is your favorite medium. You'll have a great time so come ready for a fun evening together.

Quad City Arts FESTIVAL OF TREES 2012
Another special thanks to Rose Moore for being the creative driving force behind our entry this year. Bonnie Grebner was her co-chair, and many Left Bank members contributed their artistic prowess and time to create another memorable tree.
The Wizard of Oz theme drew many an adoring gaze from young and old alike, and garnered a red ribbon in the “whimsical” category of entries. Thanks and congratulations to all for their support!
From the motorized “There’s No Place Like Home” sign atop Dorothy’s house at the tree’s crown, to the Munchin Village below, the “yellow brick road” ribbon tied the story together with glitz and your personally crafted ornaments.
